Celebrating our neighborhoods! And the Association will be collecting pet food for our pantry. We are presently providing over 10,000 pounds of free pet food monthly to our neighbors in need.Coming up on October 17th!! 👻 Get your four-legged friend dressed in their finest Halloween costume and join us for Halloween Howl, our annual dog costume contest and parade!
This fun, family-friendly community event is sponsored by CritterTown Bathhouse, Friends of Forest Hill Park (FFHP), and GALS (Grow, Advocate, Lead, Serve) Club.
There are six costume categories, and awards will be given for each:
- Funniest
- Most Adorable
- Scariest
- Most Creative
- Most Sass
- Best Owner & Doggie Duo
Registration: Walk-up only from 12–12:30 p.m.
Suggested donation: $5 to enter; Dry pet food donations for Furbish Thrift welcome!
Come for the costumes and stay for the fun! There will be light refreshments, homemade doggie treats, a dry pet food donation station benefiting Furbish Thrift, a raffle basket, prize doggie bags, and more.
Proceeds from registration donations, the raffle basket, and available GALS goodies will help support the FFHP Youth Group and GALS Club.
A few reminders: Well-behaved dogs only, please. Dogs must remain on a leash for the duration of the event.
