Quarterly Grants

Our Foundation has made 15 quarterly grants totaling $12000

Store Benefit Days

There have been four monthly benefit weekends held in Furbish Thrift where 10% of the store sales benefit one of our rescue partners. We have donated $6500 to those organizations.

Mark Burkett Scholarship Fund

The scholarship fund has been established and funded with $10,000. The fund will provide tuition assistance to vet tech students from Richmond.

Pet Adoptions

We have held 24 adoption events in the store.

141 cats and kittens have been adopted through the adoption room at the store.

4 dog adoption events have taken place at the store

Free Pet Food Pantry

Our pet food pantry has provided over 12,700 pounds of free pet food to those in need so far in our first year.

We have partnered with community outreach organizations like Blessing Warriors, Liberation Church, Belmont Community Outreach, and Atlantic Outreach Group to provide direct pet food assistance to those pet owners in need in our community.

Recycling

We have prevented xxxx articles of clothing, xxxx pounds of whatever from going to the landfill passing those items on to organizations that can use and redistribute them.
